"Puppets on Parade" Gallery Exhibit

Erickson Center for the Arts
N9224 Saw-Wa-Quato Street,
Curtis, MI 49820
The “Puppets on Parade” exhibit is comprised of puppets made at the very beginning of the Erickson Center’s involvement with this art in 2002, to recently made puppets. This exhibit, featuring over 20 handmade puppets, includes the earliest characters, Finn, Fern, and Forest, made by Ruthette Mills. It also includes creations from last summer’s “In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theater” workshop, made by the participants, and some puppets from classroom projects. See the famous puppets from the “Art on the Lake Art and Music Festival” Puppet Parade up close and personal! This exhibit is open to the public during regular business hours and will be on display until January 9th.
