Wetland Wake-up Field Day

Bay City State Park
3582 State Park Drive,
Bay City, MI 48706-1356

Come celebrate National Kids to Parks Day with us during our Nature STEM Field Day. The event will include several ongoing lab stations, inside and outside, to investigate different parts of nature with hands-on projects and experiments. Stations will restart every hour to allow guests to experience different stations. Try your hand at mammal skull identification, discover who sneaks through backyards with a trail camera lab, or maybe test your camouflage skills in our predator prey game. There are several different experiences for different age/grade levels to try and even kits and tools to take home and continue the investigation. Have a great Nature STEM Idea? Share it at the STEM Fair in our Auditorium for a chance to win a prize package! For more information please contact the Saginaw Bay Visitor Center, email [email protected] or call 989-667-0717.

A Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry into Michigan state parks. To make a camping reservation, visit or call 1-800-447-2757.

Please Note: Dates occasionally change and events may be canceled due to inclement weather and other reasons. Please call the park to confirm dates/times prior to your arrival.
