Let's Take a Ride

ORV/ATV Riding

Let's rev up our off-road engines and venture out on more than 3,100 miles of ORV trails.
Michigan ORV trails run the gamut from twisty, single-tracks to rocky hill climbs to soggy mud bogs, all daring dirt bikes, quads and dune buggies to stir up the dirt.
For a unique off road experience head to Silver Lake Sand Dunes, the only place in Michigan you can drive the dunes. Or get rugged on the ORV trails of Drummond Island. Are you ready to take it off-road and enjoy the muddy side of Pure Michigan?
Free ORV Weekends
During two Free ORV Weekends (June 9-10 and Aug. 18-19), residents and out-of-state visitors will get to explore the state’s trails system without an ORV license or permit. It is the perfect chance to test Michigan's 3,700 miles of state-designated ORV routes and trails yourself and introduce friends to the thrill of the ride.
