The Andersen Enrichment Center is now planning its Annual Art & Garden Festival, which will be held on Wednesday, June 11th in the Lucille Andersen Memorial Rose Garden. This summer tradition, in the heart of Saginaw’s Celebration Square, is one of the Center’s major fundraisers and features Michigan artists and gardeners at booths, food trucks, garden expert demonstrations, and much more! The Silent Auction has become a popular feature of the art and garden festival. We are seeking donations from Michigan businesses and non-profit organizations in the form of plants, garden art, gift certificates, logo items, home accessories or other merchandise. Proceeds from Art & Garden Festival support the operation, maintenance, and improvement of the Rose Garden. The garden was created in 1993 and features a circular pool with a sculpture by Marshall Fredericks. Quadrants of the garden are planted with roses, hostas, perennials, grasses and annuals, which bloom from early spring to late fall.
