Join us for a 12-day Self-Contained tour of the Keweenaw Peninsula of Upper Michigan. Ride 417 miles in ten riding days with camping and shared cooking. The tour includes fourteen riders (Beginner+ level of difficulty).
The Keweenaw Peninsula is on Lake Superior, one of the world’s largest freshwater lakes and a place of rugged beauty and breathtaking vistas. The tour begins in Marquette, Michigan and from there we’ll pedal west to the Porcupine Mountains, home of the widely photographed Lake of the Clouds. We then head north to spend the remainder of the tour in Copper Country, where we’ll explore mine ruins and secluded beaches. This is also a premier location for viewing the northern lights due to lack of light pollution and the backdrop of Lake Superior.
