“Great Scott!” all-Scott Joplin recital at Stone Chalet in Ann Arbor, Michigan!
Richard Dowling pianist plays Ragtime music at Stone Chalet on Friday March 2, 2018.
Dowling will be performing all Scott Joplin pieces. Scott Joplin wrote the “The Entertainer” used in the Academy Award winning movie, “The Sting”.
Lorelei, Detroit’s premier a cappella quartet, will open the show with spirituals and original music. The quartet is comprised of some of the area’s most gifted award-winning vocalists and writers. This dynamic and exciting ensemble performs original and well-loved tunes from the American song repertoire covering a lot of ground including blues, soul, folk, gospel, jazz and more, always making each tune their own.
