In this documentary, academy award-winning filmmaker Morgan Neville looks back on the legacy of Fred Rogers. While the nation changed around him in his thirty years on TV, Rogers stood firm in his beliefs about the importance of protecting childhood. This film points out how Rogers' career represents a sustained attempt to present a coherent, beneficent view about how we should best speak to children about important matters and how TV can be used as a positive force in our society.

Arrive early for refreshments and stay after for a panel discussion with representatives from local neighborhood associations.
