Mount Pleasant, MI 48858

Join us from 4:00pm-6:00pm for the grand opening of Kozmic Clash: Peace, Love, and Outer Space, an exhibit at the CMU Museum of Cultural and Natural History that emphasizes the dynamic expression of freedom through creativity, innovation, exploration, and group participation in music, the arts, and technological advance. The Woodstock Festival (officially “An Aquarian Exposition: Three Days of Peace and Music”) and the first man on the moon (the Apollo 11 mission) will be used to illustrate the key achievements that occurred on both the “hippie” and the conservative home fronts in 1969. The exhibit is located in the Rowe first floor Museum Hall, Hands-On Gallery, Lobby, and Main Gallery. Parking is not monitored on campus after 4:00pm and you are allowed to park in the lot behind the Museum after 4:00pm. Admission is free and open to the public. The exhibit will remain open during Museum regular business hours Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and Saturdays from 1:00pm-5:00pm.
