The Great Michigan Scavenger Hunt

In more than 20 destinations across Michigan, you might find more than just family fun and small-town strolls this May. Over 100 prizes are up for grabs, including:

  • $100 to delicious restaurants like Jake’s Restaurant in Saginaw or Zingerman’s in Ann Arbor.
  • $50-$100 shopping sprees for eclectic stores such as Local Basket Case in Alpena, Painted Turtle Gift Shop and Art Works in Big Rapids, or spending money in Frankenmuth.

To participate in the hunt, check the social media pages of the participating destinations from May 1-7, 2022 for clues as to where some special Michigan goodies might be hidden throughout the state. Scroll to the end of this page for a full list of participating destinations.

You’ll know you’ve found a prize out in the wild if you find a silver tin with a sticker on top that says ‘The Great Michigan Scavenger Hunt.’ What’s inside is yours for the taking! Once you’ve discovered your treasure, share a photo to social media with the hashtag #MIFutureOfTravel and let us know what you found and where. Keep reading to learn how you can win even more.
