Founded in 1835, this highly respected liberal arts college has an enrollment of 1,850. A Michigan Historic Site, Albion College is the birthplace of the "Sweetheart of Sigma Chi." Walk this picturesque campus and see the Bobbitt Visual Art Center's free art exhibits, take advantage of the many services available in the Kellogg Center (student union), and visit Bellemont Manor, a restored mansion serving as a year-round conference center. The Albion College Observatory, built in 1883, houses one of the oldest actively used telescopes in the country.
